We have just completed the first station on our line. We got some suitable patio stones and some picket (style) fencing from B&Q. We had to cut the bottom off the fencing to make it a more suitable height and also cut the top into points to acheive a more 'picket fence' look. We then bedded the flag stones onto the 20mm chippings we use for ballast which seemed to be very stable. A white line was sprayed onto the platform edge to warn of the area where the running boards of the rolling stock will overlap the platform. All finished off with a few pots and a window box screwed to the fence.
