We have just acquired our second Planet locomotive for the railway. Its a 5" Maxitrack Planet (the same as our other loco) in the same colour, but this one has a remote control, sound and more powerful motors. This is a invaluable addition to the railway and will enable us to pull more visitors round at the same time.
Above: Both locos at the station after the first test run. With the extra power, the new loco makes easy work of the gradients when pulling passenger carriages.
The Planet came with a handy box to transport it, really useful as we do tend visit lots of other railways. We've already taken it down to the Canvey Island Railway.
