Planning the next move

In the next few weeks we plan to lay the track in green on the right of the plan with a bridge over the old pond (which we are going to restore). We plan to buy the 2 sets of points required as kits as this saves hundreds of pounds.

The points will rejoin the main line from the right side just before the station.

Once we work out the radius of the curve where the points are to be laid we can start construction. We haven't built any points before so this will be a steep learning curve. The Miniature Railway Supply Co will probably supply the components for the points and we will build them using our own sleepers.
