After some deliberation, we decided not to buy the slightly dilapidated passenger carriage in our previous post because a better one came into SRS's workshop. This is one of Maxitracks well known passenger carriages that's been very well built form a kit but never actually used. Its also slightly thinner than the previous option and thats better for our limited clearances. It just needs painting, buffers and a seat. The brand new bogies also have a breaking system attached to them which is an added bonus.

We have also recently acquired an old rusty wagon that was going to be scrapped by its owner. It seems to be based on a loco frame of some sort. We're sure we can restore it and give it a new lease of life it we can get those wheels running smoothly again. It may not have carried any passengers for a while, but by the smell of it the local cats seem to have been putting it to good use!
